Frequently Asked Questions

Each of our accommodation units has its own private Eco wood fired hot tub. We supply an initial starter supply of kindling, heat logs and firelighters. This will be enough to reach a ‘hot’ temperature for your first use. We stock further supplies in our on site honesty shop.

Yes, our units are dog friendly, we don’t have a limit on the number of dogs, however, you must be aware that it is you that shares the space. We do charge £20 per dog per stay. We do not allow dogs to be left unattended at any time and must always be on a lead unless in your own garden or accommodation unit.

We do supply all bedding. An additional charge of £20 will be payable if you are 2 guests in The Beach Hut and require 2 separate beds. A fluffy bath sheet is supplied per person and a hand towel per couple. Should you wish to have a hand towel each, please just let us know. The reason we only offer 1 hand towel as a matter of course is due to wastage and trying to be kind to the environment.

A Spa pack consisting of 2 x bathrobes and 2 x spa towels can be provided if required. We charge these at £20 per pack ie. £10 per person and they are available for the duration of your stay. You can add these during the booking process.

We ensure your stay gets off to a refreshing start by supplying a starter pack consisting of tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk. You will also find an initial supply of toilet rolls, hand soap, washing up liquid, cleaning cloths and a tea towel.

We don’t provide Wi-Fi. We are truly back to nature for a totally relaxing stay. Mobile phone signals are good in the area, so if you really can’t switch off or do need to keep in touch with the outside world then your data should work.

For the reasons above we do not provide a TV in the Glamping Huts.  The Beach Hut static caravan does have a TV with built in DVD player.

In the Glamping Huts we do not provide an oven or hob. There is a microwave oven and a charcoal bbq. The reason for this is to promote the great outdoors and our plentiful local eateries.

The Beach Hut static caravan has a fully equipped kitchen and includes a full cooker.

Anglesey is surrounded by sea and therefore has many beaches. Nowhere on Anglesey is more than a 35 minute drive. Our closest coastline is between a 5 and 10 minute drive. Again, the information folder will describe the different beaches and towns in more detail.

We do have an on site honesty shop which always has a supply of logs, kindling, charcoal and firelighters. We also stock a limited supply of toiletries just in case you forget your toothbrush or shower gel!  There is a local shop in the village selling the most delicious cakes and pastries as well as breakfast takeaways.  The closest supermarket – The Co-op is in Amlwch just a 5 minute drive away. Full directions can be found in our information folder which is located in your accommodation.

Anglesey has many pubs and restaurants to chose from. A selection together with menus are displayed in the room information folder. Our 2 closest are Lastra Farm an award winning restaurant serving the most delicious food and also Y Ring serving traditional cuisine, both are dog friendly. During the summer season and bank holidays it would be recommended to book a table to avoid disappointment.

The best way to discover Anglesey is by car without a doubt. However, it is possible to get here using public transport… take the 62 bus from Bangor (Gwynedd) railway station to Amlwch (Co-op). From there take the number 32 to Llangefni via Rhosybol or a quicker option would be a taxi from Amlwch at a cost of approximately £10.

Most definitely. Anglesey has approximately 130miles of walkable coastal paths. These are split into sections and could be competed within 12 days. A map with these sections can be provided to you upon request.

Yes, with The National Trust you can visit Plas Newydd house and gardens. It sits on the bank of the Menai Strait and affords the most beautiful views across to Snowdonia. Just over the Menai Strait in Bangor you can also visit Penrhyn Castle surrounded by wooded and open parkland.

It does indeed, Beaumaris Castle is famous as the greatest castle never built. It was the last of the royal strongholds created by Edward I in Wales – and perhaps his masterpiece. Visit Cadw for further details.

Zip World at Bethesda is just a 19 mile/45 minute drive from us. So why not spend a few days relaxing with us after you thrilling day at Penrhyn Quarry!
